Terms, product boundaries & privacy

BuyLedger is the customer-facing product-line name for this service and is not a separate legal entity or a claim that the name is registered. The service is operated by A.C.N. 700 220 784 PTY LTD, ABN 77700220784 (we, us). These terms apply when a business customer uses the website, starts a monthly workspace or buys a BuyLedger Buying Intelligence Pack. By ordering, the customer confirms it has authority to act for the named business and accepts these terms.

Independent service. Not affiliated with or endorsed by AusTender, the Australian Government or any government body.

If an order form or written agreement expressly varies these terms, that document prevails only to the extent of the inconsistency.

A monthly BuyLedger workspace includes the released-market searchable award archive, saved market profiles, explainable matches against award records and current opportunities, evidence-linked digests, and the profile and team limits shown for the selected plan at checkout. At launch, the released market is Australian Commonwealth procurement. Markets marked preview, canary or planned are not included until they are expressly released for purchase.

The Australian award archive starts on 1 January 2017 and ends at the latest successfully finalised source snapshot identified in the service. It is refreshed in verified snapshots rather than continuously. Saved profiles may use keywords, classification codes, buyers, suppliers and value ranges supported by the workspace interface.

For active monthly subscribers, BuyLedger performs one scheduled daily check of the official current-opportunity source and matches available Commonwealth opportunities against active saved profiles. The customer may select a daily or weekly evidence-linked digest. A source failure, stale feed or failed run is recorded as unavailable rather than reported as a zero-result day.

The separate BuyLedger Buying Intelligence Pack is a one-off, fixed-scope service for one listed category. It includes a secure, print-ready 365-day Category Market Fingerprint, 25 diversified source-linked evidence cards and a fixed 30-day Current Watch. Training & Education is the complete free sample rather than a paid category.

We sell our selection, normalisation, matching, arrangement and analysis of lawfully sourced public information. We do not sell government contracts, bids, confidential material or private contact lists. Current opportunity matching is scheduled daily, not real-time, and the released Australian market is Commonwealth-only; it does not cover state, council or private tenders. BuyLedger is not bid writing, deadline management, professional advice, an eligibility assessment, a prediction or a guarantee of revenue, response, award or future work.

Archive and report views identify their source, retrieval evidence, historical range and matching scope. Current opportunity matching uses the official AusTender feed and links results to the official notice. Public records and feeds can be incomplete, delayed, corrected, amended, withdrawn or unavailable. BuyLedger does not make them complete or error-free.

Before relying on a material fact or acting on an opportunity, the customer must open the linked official record and verify the relevant entity, value, scope, documents, amendments, status, requirements and closing date and time. A Current Watch message is a matching alert, not the official tender notice or a substitute for checking AusTender.

AusTender also offers free registration and alerts directly. Customers may use those services independently. BuyLedger charges for its normalised archive, explainable profile matching, buyer and supplier analysis, workflow, digests and client-ready delivery, not for exclusive access to a public notice.

Matching uses the information exposed in the official feed and transparent rules for the selected category. It can include a notice that later proves irrelevant or miss a relevant notice whose wording does not expose the match. Customers should keep any other procurement-alert controls appropriate to their business.

Customers must provide accurate order information, protect private report links and notify us promptly of suspected unauthorised access. Do not submit confidential bids, credentials, sensitive information or personal information as a client label.

Customers must not use the service unlawfully; misrepresent a report as official government advice; spam or harass a person; bypass access or security controls; introduce malicious code; scrape or bulk-extract the service; resell access or source extracts; or infringe privacy, confidentiality or intellectual-property rights.

We and our licensors retain rights in the software, interface, classification and matching methods, data model, selection, arrangement and original analysis. An active subscriber receives a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use its workspace outputs for its own business intelligence during the paid access period, subject to the selected plan. A one-off brief customer may use the purchased report for its business intelligence and provide one copy to its named end client. Source attribution and limitations must remain visible.

Source owners retain their rights in underlying material. The product contains Australian Government Department of Finance AusTender data licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution 3.0 Australia licence. We select, arrange and analyse that data. Source data may change and no Australian Government endorsement is implied.

Signal is A$29 per month including GST, Growth is A$69 per month including GST and Adviser is A$149 per month including GST. Each is a recurring monthly subscription until cancelled. The plan, monthly amount, included limits and renewal frequency are displayed before payment. There is no minimum term. We will not change the amount of an existing recurring charge without advance notice and a reasonable opportunity to cancel.

A subscription may be cancelled from the private billing portal or by emailing BuyLedger Support. Cancellation ordinarily takes effect at the end of the current paid monthly period, after which subscriber-only access and scheduled matching end. If the billing portal is unavailable, an email cancellation request is sufficient and will be actioned without requiring the customer to repeat the request through another channel.

The separate BuyLedger Buying Intelligence Pack is A$249 including GST. It is a one-off purchase with no recurring charge or automatic renewal. Its selected 365-day snapshot is fixed before checkout and its Current Watch runs for 30 calendar days after activation.

Private access is activated only after Stripe confirms successful payment. Stripe processes card and billing data under its own terms; we do not receive or store full card numbers. Failed or reversed payments may pause access while the account is brought current.

Cancelling a subscription stops future renewal; it does not ordinarily create a refund for time already supplied solely because the customer changed its mind. We also do not ordinarily refund a correctly supplied one-off brief solely for change of mind. These positions do not limit any right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law where that law applies, including to qualifying business purchases. Depending on the failure, remedies can include rectification, cancellation, a refund for an unused portion and compensation for reasonably foreseeable loss. Contact BuyLedger Support if paid access is not supplied, a material feature is unavailable or an output appears materially defective. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies a non-excludable guarantee, right or remedy.

We may maintain, repair or improve the service and may suspend access where reasonably necessary for security, law, misuse or provider outages. We do not promise uninterrupted availability. If the official AusTender feed or a required provider is unavailable, delayed or stale, Current Watch may be delayed; an outage is not represented as a zero-opportunity result. We will resume checks when the source recovers and provide any remedy required by non-excludable law.

Where law permits a remedy for services to be limited, our liability is limited, at our option, to supplying the affected services again or paying the reasonable cost of having them supplied again. This limit is subject to every non-excludable right, does not apply where it would be unlawful and does not exclude liability for reasonably foreseeable loss caused by a failure to meet an applicable consumer guarantee.

We aim to collect only information reasonably needed to operate and protect the service: business contact and billing details, workspace members, saved profile criteria, an optional one-off client label, transaction references, support messages, and limited usage and security logs. Do not submit sensitive information or confidential tender documents.

We use information to supply and reconcile purchases, secure and improve the service, provide support, run saved-profile matching, send selected digests and essential source-status messages, and meet legal obligations. These operational messages are part of the purchased service. We do not sell personal information. Marketing is sent only where permitted and includes an unsubscribe method.

Our first-party product learning is deliberately limited. We may record documented events such as a page or guide being opened, an offer being selected, a source link being used, an aggregate archive-result range, and structured one-tap feedback. A random session identifier helps us avoid double-counting. These events do not accept search terms, client labels, email addresses, free-text feedback or confidential tender material, and the founder review reports only aggregate counts.

Necessary hosting, communications and payment providers may process limited information for us, including outside South Australia or Australia. We restrict access and retain information only while needed for the stated purpose, security, disputes and record-keeping duties. To request access or correction, or raise a privacy concern, contact BuyLedger Support.

We may suspend or end access for a material breach, unlawful use, non-payment, refund, chargeback or serious security risk, with notice and a reasonable opportunity to remedy where appropriate. Ending access does not remove accrued payment obligations or non-excludable customer rights. A customer may cancel a monthly subscription as described in section 6.

South Australian law governs these terms and the parties submit to the courts of South Australia and competent appeal courts. This does not remove any mandatory right a customer has under applicable law.
